Who we are
Andrew DiSimone, veteran NYC hairstylist & American Cancer Society Volunteer, created FreeWigsForCancer.com -- a wig network of people who have had a loved one pass that want to put their wig to good use. We connect donors of wigs to people in need for any medical hair loss reason.

"It feels good to give" says Andrew DiSimone, "when you know that you helped put a smile on the face of someone going through treatment, it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Especially if the wig is just siting in a closet, or a sad reminder days gone past with a loved one. The good ones are not cheap, and why let them go to waste."

How it works
Send us your used wig. If you choose not to be anonymous, we will attach your email or phone number to the wig. We will send your wig to a person who is having trouble affording one. When they receive it, they will contact you directly to thank you.
